Keema Matar Pulao

    INGREDIENTS


    - Rice (300) grams

    - Mince (300) grams

    - Peas (200) grams

    - Potatoes (2)

    - Whole black lentil100 grams

    - Onion (1)

    - Star anise (Badyan/Biryani ka Phool) (4)

    - Green chilies (4)

    - Ghee (½) cup

    - Ginger garlic paste (2) table Spoon

    - Salt to taste

    - Button red chilies 6 – 8

    - Water as required

   COOKING METHOD


    - Heat ½ cup ghee/Oil in a pan, add in 2 tablespoon ginger garlic paste and fry well.

    - Then add chopped green chilies, button red chilies and star anise. Fry well for 3 - 4 mins.

    - Now add boiled chopped potatoes, 200 gram boiled peas and 100 gram boiled black lentils (Masoor) , mix well and cook for 2 – 3 minutes.

    - Add 1 ½ glass of water, cook till it comes to a boil. Add in 300 gm soaked rice.

    - Cook till rice comes on top. Then simmer on low flame for 8 – 10 minutes.

    - Serve and Enjoy.
